if used well they are ok, for exemple: training arc, if you do a mini flashback about tython (when he was training) is fine, on the contrary if you show too much of the training it will take too long and get annoying, so using flashbacks for training arc in my opinion is ok! as for others i guess it depend form the situation, Naruto is a prime exemple in well done flackbacks but the over use of them make me hate every single one of them, if done once or twice but very well they can be enjoyable...

(google tell me that's what the Je'daii used, from the image there are rune engraving on the blade you might bs your way thought with divine script and give nen ability to the blade, if you want) You are doing amazing in not butchering canon, if you give is lightsaber a logia/paramecia you need to give logia/paramecia to the item of other player as well... I think is fine to put a non-canon devilfruit, but i dont think is a good idea breaking canon "rules" for a cheap upgrade when there are other way, is also more in line with the mc, with is personality i dont think you can have him kill somebody for the sake of stealing a devilfruit.

Ty for the chaper, for now you are going well the novel is good there are a few plothole that i can see but overall is impossible to write something without them, the plothole that i can see are the forbidden library it should be easy sneak in even with dumbledore suspicion, the department of mystery is older then the ministry so should have alot of forbidden knowledge about time, space, ritual and whatnot (they study that stuff) also in canon they just walked in the department easily, the moon base is cool but it should be more complicated to make not something that can be done on a whim as well as just using a modified bubble charm to live there it sound a bit too simple (i feel if it is simple morgana la fay, merlin, solomon ecc would have done the same), other region in the world have magic not just brittan i feel like other then messing with the plot he as no reason to be there you need to find a good reason for him, overall a few plothole are easy to ignore as can be just be brushed off with "too young and wanted to be careful" or "not enough time" ecc. (even one piece as them i remember in alabasta something along the line "just 5 friut give the ability to fly") so dont worry too much but try to not pile them up or solve them in a pedantic way. As for how good is it or how bad is it i think we need to w8 around 100 chapter that is a good milestone that make both autor and reader know if is worth to keep going or not.
