I am honestly surprised that this is rated so low. Although the author does drag out the powering-up process quite a bit, it is honestly refreshing to see a different out view of the naruto world. After all the path to success is known to everybody, wake up early, work hard, and try to master a craft, but who can do this for years or even decades on end? Keep up the good work and while there is no interesting cheat, the power development of the main character is still interesting.
A little bit of info on the Chinese language: 冷静 literally translated means "coldly quit", it does mean calm. With the picture of someone being quiet in the cold.
Usually, I don't really like an arrogant protagonist. But thinking about it for a while, trying to look tough in a desperate situation is actually quite beneficial. Perhaps the tower is akin to a burrow with only a single exit.
A comment from someone who has knowledge of the Chinese language. This Invincible might be called 无敌 (wu di) which roughly translates to never defeated).
The path of a true Barbarian.
The question is whether or not these choices are unique for every person or the same.
I actually like it. While it is not the most mentally challenging novel, it ain't braindead with countless plot armor devices that save the day. It has its plotholes and plot armor devices, but they are not overbearing. Just hope that it continues its pace and doesn't suddenly become a drastic overwhaul.
I like this novel. The unique premise with a logical and rational decision flow makes it a novel with a protagonist I can follow. What I like about this novel so far is that he makes logical conclusions and walks on the path that is most suited for him. Even without the golden finger, every protagonist possesses. This means that the golden finger only acts as a support. Hopefully, this novel will get chosen.
It is rather nice to see a variety of techniques that make use of his innate talent. Often times the innate talent of the protagonist doesn't decide their future path. This only makes sense due to the plot armor that can be spotted from miles away. Thankfully this one makes sense.
This event is actually more likely to happen. As social communities in the past were far more important than one might expect. Compared to the modern age, you couldn't simply replace your surrounding with new people. Instead, it was crucial to have a close connection with those surrounding you or survival would become harsher than it already is. Especially in such a small village, having a trusting community was crucial.
I like the concept. So far there have been no annoying tropes. Instead of the gorgeous girl that needs saving all the time, the partner is his brother who receives a support position. But have no fear, for the protagonist doesn't kill everything on his own, the brother duo walks around together and avoids groups that are too large. While this might not be the uber strategy for becoming god, it is actually common sense and playing it safe.
Probably the people who panic upon being in dangerous situations.
Finally, a decent reason for someone to bully a protagonist. I might not agree with him, but it is logical. Since they are all teenagers, being jealous and more emotional is normal.
Gotta throw in some sentences to show that he is filial.
Can't fault this guy for picking up a beloved pet and wanting to care for it. Imagine owning a beloved pet and then suddenly getting transported into the same world with just a tiny difference.
I imagine it akin to being if someone of the past would get transported to our modern time, he would probably call all people capable of using a smartphone a magician. They are able to produce sound, light, connect to a faraway person, or magically send messages across the whole world.
This got me good. But it also is very rational.
If this would have been done by the class mathematician, the class best or the nerdy math kid with an unhealthy obsession about apocalypses, I would have believed it, but this seems something pulled out of nowhere.
Nice Foreshadowing of the huge cockroach.
Ah, the time when being stupid was due to my insufficient amount of time on this earth.
