yeah i knew when he chose to leave and break his shadow bond or was going to end unsatisfyingly either he fails or there's a big price to pay. this may be the worst outcome imo. additionally because this is not just a simple memory loss, it's unlikely to get resolved anytime soon or ever for that matter.
Its sounds good if he is able to break his bond while everything on the cohorts side goes well, but in all likelihood that's not gonna happen. he could turn back last minute but that sounds to predictable. tbh i see this arc ending on a sour note where nobody is happy
ok seems kinda pointless to think about when her planning started because atm it doesn't matter... what matters is what her goal actually is, just saying she wants to break fate could mean anything. My best guess is relies on the fact that both sunny and neph are the only ones without a second version of themselves at the cycle start. somehow that enables that to become fuse with their past selves where sunny isn't bound to neph anymore. Idk its quite a stretch but this whole plot would be pointless without an outcome like that.
that's what i was getting at, she's most likely torment. If she is indeed torment then its likely she going to die imo. the main reason i see this happening is that there have been many cassie haters since the whole true name fiasco and this seems like a way to kill her off. I personally would rather her to live but who knows what author is cooking at this point
so im guessing the group eventually got to the estuary, got corrupted, and left putting them somewhere in the river's past. That would explain howthe 6 plagues actions happened in the past. Also it seems that when new people enter that is set as definite thing, resulting in 2 versions of everyone besides sunny who sent himself back and neph who died. this all leaves me with one question, Are any of them their original selves anymore?
so when blackfire takes a body they no longer regress? it seems that way since those saints it ate seem full power. Thats cool and all but didn't that just make lux and his other summons pointless? why bother summoning anything else when he has saints and a demigod under his wing. His coffin is a bit too OP imo
Thanks for the reply, yeah i didnt think that they would break up or anything just the standard "I must leave to train in the ice sect to catch up to you, see you in 200+ chapter" trope that is way more common than it should be. Based on your response that doesn't seem likely so thank you haha
when i read about the one on one battles I was hoping they would be skipped if not important so im grateful they were skipped. As for evelyn i like her character and think you're doing a good job. The only thing I'm worried about is evelyn seems like the type who wants to rise on her own without help. so i can see her wanting to leave kaze on her own further down the line after they go to the cultivation realm, and that's not something i want. Tbh I wouldnt be a fan of any major seperation between his harem members
Am I missing something, because I thought that the church was supposed to Intervene on situations like this. There are foreign invaders with levels as high as 78 invading and nobody is doing anything about it???? this whole situation could be prevented by simply sending one level 80 and have him sit there, he wouldn't even need to fight. This plot is even less tolerable knowing that its only possible because some other foreign empire is funding some random dude to invade so they can look for a map??? It's being portrayed as a distraction but the church isn't distracted in the slightest in fact they are doing nothing...
