What is its operating system? Do they just plug in a mana core from a golem? Do they use a computer/mana hybrid control chip? Is there a pre-programed mana core they can buy from a DIY magic shop? A semi-artificial intelligent golem core should be something with a lot of runes he can study.

No way is it harder than a robot! Using magic and runes is like making a part and demanding it to 'do something' and it just does. Robots would be super hard to make in comparison.
What is with all the new characters being either a girl, or a betrayer.
If Arthur ever gains a mana boosting rune, can he awaken anybody he wants by giving them a permanent +5 mana?
He could have had five years of extra time and way less enemies if he waited to train instead of leaving as soon as he could.

After everyone leaves the trial they will get an insignia based on what they did during the trial. At least that's what I understood. Wouldn't it be hilarious if Erin got [The rapist] as his insignia.
