This battle is not satisfying at all. Kimimaro underestimates Danzo too much. He could quickly kill Danzo without unsealing his yin seal after getting his kotomatsukami eye. He played too much and dragged the fight even after knowing his low chakra level. Just using purple flame and stabbing the heart is enough to kill him while catching him off after getting the eye. Even the fight against Might Guy is better than this one. I hope the author didn't repeat this to prolong the fight or nerf the MC.
