That just means that the readers are toxic and authors not very capable and confident in their abilities. Most readers understand that the author is human and can make mistakes.

I understand that you want to build the world around our MC a little more and there are details that can help you do that. But there times in your novel when some things just feel out of place. Like this line about the scientists. Was it necessary to include it right now? You can do world building sure, it's definitely interesting to read about a completely unique world that someone has created, however, there is a way to do that differently in a more natural way rather than just stating things and 'telling' us. Show it to us. Through the actions of the character, the dialogue between the characters, the different interactions that the MC has with the world around him. I don't expect much from authors on webnovel since it is a webnovel and a lot of authors don't have English as their first language and its hard for them to express themselves and there's not a lot of editing and proof reading going on. But these are just good writing practices.

Bro I don't care if there is a reason for that or not. As a reader when I'm reading a chapter I should not have to go to the bloody paragraph comments to find a reason for what's in the STORY. That's just bad writing. If you can't explain the reason right now then don't mention it now. The amount of frustration a reader goes through when they see dumb stuff like this is what makes them drop the novel. Authors should justify their choices through the story and not the comment section. Hopefully this happens in novel and I don't have to find the reason for stuff happening in the STORY in the COMMENT section. It just breaks the immersion completely. Reflect on it.
