you're saying it's better than info dumps, bit he is still doing it, chapter 9 was only about information, the chapter that introduced Kevin was so confusing, dropping names without even explaing what it means, he is trying to do everything a the same time and it's failing. because it's becoming a inconsistent story.

I'm trying to enjoy but author just, introducing so many cliches that ruin a novel for me. and just when I thought I finally found a good novel.

but, the food shortage only happened because our mc decided to start training as a infant, wich caused the parents to give him more food than the others because he was always hungry, so orpal was mad for not eating enough, the mc is supposed to be 30 something, he himself knew that what was doing was wrong but chose to continue, I'm sorry but I can't sympathize with our selfish mc here.

but the book is in 3rd person right? so is not Shang reference to himself as Alex but us observing Alex, so it doesn't make sense, god said that if he so much think of the name he will feel pain. but I'm starting to get annoyed because this just makes people more used to the name Alex.

but like, in the mc past life, did magic exists? because I can't seem to understand how he had a identical pendant, as the one in the novel and that they're connected.

don't forget, mc meets ex fiance, suddenly young master who likes ex appears try fight mc, loses, ex see how strong mc is, and then her family regrets ending the engagement.

i was thinking the same the only difference, is that here he as a family, and it's a novel not a game. so far doesn't seem original work.
