More likely the author doesn't want to do more work by adding more characters.

I still think it's dumb that if someone sees you doing something magical, you just die. you could be invincible but just die because some house wife saw you throw a pokeball.

The story is decent but it has 3 main problems that make it near unreadable. -Firstly it has been dropped on a cliffhanger so there will be no satisfying ending. -Most importantly to me, Evan though it has a villain tag the entire personality of the MC is that he has noble morals and admonishes anyone who doesn't. -At a certain point towards the end the entire concept and genre of the story changes abruptly and then the story ends without any clarification The story could have been good but was misleading and didn't follow through.

To be fair, with how powerful the MC is there really isn't any suspense for the rest of the story.
