Now the surviving women can set whatever standards they want for a relationship because the population ratio is skewed in their favor. Don't feel too bad for the men in this situation. They might have a tough time dating, but at least they got to live.

Why do so many novels on this site insist on portraying damaged female characters who trap men in awkward sexual situations just so that they can behave spitefully afterward? Does it make sense that she would have invited him out to a drink and gotten plastered in his presence if she didn't 100% trust him? No! And why on earth would she start to despise him if he didn't do anything to her? So bizarre! And confessing your private romantic troubles to a stranger at the first meeting? How sloppy for a professional lawyer who may need to regularly meet with lone clients and drink in a business setting. Still like the story, but ugh! Give me a break!

Love it! The characters are interesting and realistic. This is not a generic Mary Sue romance. The main character and the female lead do NOT get along at the beginning, and the female lead seriously wants to kill him. The main character also acknowledges that the female lead's grievances are legitimate and actually feels sorry after realizing that she has human level intellect. Both of them love their children (cubs) and would do anything to protect them. It's refreshing to see the human countries come up with a realistic approach to dealing with powerful spiritually awakened animals that includes diplomatic negotiation instead of threats and brute force from the start.

This book is the best in its trial read batch. It's got a non-human MC and livestreaming comedy. What's not to like? filler filler filler filler

Based on the trial read chapters, I hope this novel gets picked up. The main character is an entertaining villain with a lackadaisical personality. Even though he is a cold-blooded assassin, he still enjoys joking around and travels with a trusted comrade. The setting takes place in a futuristic space age where humans have come into contact with alien races. There are some clichés. The main character insists on joining a university and it sounds like there's some kind of virtual reality battle platform. However, the story is still very enjoyable.

As of this review, the novel is still in the Trial Read section. The beginning is well-written and shows a lot of promise. People who like stories where the main character is a villain should give this a try. The intrigue between sects is also quite good and should interest fans of politics/drama.
