Probably was the Emperor and the Empress trying to force the war.
Hopefully she can still grow as a member of the Blood Clan. It would be awful if she's stuck as a baby forever.
I'm curious why they haven't set up anti-cavalry defenses since they should clearly know that a cavalry would be their main opposition. This isn't an open field, this is urban combat. There's only so many directions where the cavalry can come from. Barricades, posts, fences, spikes, and spears all good deterrents against mounted foes. It's the bare minimum they can do.
Is this the kid that was hacking down the garden of priceless blood roses for fun?
I always found odd that many countries with caste systems, like Japan in the past, usually had merchants and tradesmen at the very bottom of the caste system hierarchy. Apparently it was because merchants didn't create or produced anything and didn't offer anything in war. Peasants tended to produce pretty much all of basics essentials needed to survive and the nobility tended to get the essentials through taxation. Meaning that merchants mostly dealt in non-essential items or in essential stuff needed by those affected by misfortune.
Everyone should oppose it. Well, not at that exact moment. But after he leaves, they should definitely oppose it. There's no benefits at all.
For some strange reason he does seem to be in a hurry to do this. Even though he can't possibly reap the rewards of it yet.
Perhaps you can bypass it by sacrificing a high rank member from the Monarch of Decay Pathway.
That's a harsh one. Specially if you actually have morals. That said, this would work insanely well with the Outer Deity Pathway that political aide guy had in Volume 2.
Technically, Aurore or should I say Roche betrayed him somewhat.
A modern City of Calamity?
Oooh, a mixed dual Pathway item. Nice.
Even if she's confident in h and trusts him, is it really okay for her to be kept in the dark?
With new hair, he should make a new persona.
Poor Anthony. Left behind once again. 😔
Oh, this explains why the plan was so bad.
You are not even aware of the agricultural revolution that is coming.
You fools, you're expanding the currency outside the North.
I hope that he does. I always like a story where the protagonist has an apprentice.
This guy is a bit too well informed. He already knows of the enterprise that was just established, but he also knows the occurrences within the palace.
