I really hope this ability will have immense restrictions.... for example, security system strength should matter, along with how hardy the hardware is. This could easily become hella OP, and if not considered and thought out carefully, could even RUIN the story. At least that is what i think. I will see i guess...

Thanks! I like being labelled retarded for pointing out the fact that Medieval Physicians in the 15th century were somewhat competent, compared to the past and their counterparts in many other places, and that they were not just quacks that killed everyone they touched. It was the best they had back then. You can't even imagine how many lives such a "quack" saved, because while their knowledge was incomplete by modern standards it was still a hundred times better than having no chance at all. I was saying exactly this, that for the time even such "shallow" knowledge might have been the deciding factor over life or death, and we should not look down on them too much for that. They tried their best. Everyone is acting like they were maliciously murdering everyone with stupid shit, like they had the internet and a global community of doctors to commune with for every case but did not use it or listen, like they deliberately didn't use better cures and techniques. NO, they simply did not know better, but they tried. THEY are the forefathers of OUR MODERN TIMES, it is THEM that eventually lead us to modern medicine and everyone is only looking at them with scorn and judgment. It is shameful!

Self preservation? Arguably the feeling of fear was and is one of the most important to us humans as it let/lets us survive for hundreds of years. Most of us at least lol. Not super dumb people apparently... and do you know why? Because they are too dumb to see danger as it is, as dangerous, and a healthy amount of fear is always necessary to face the unknown and other adversaries or you will walk into it without any preparation or thinking.

I hate this ability with a passion.... I always felt that the Abilities, passive and active are already OP as f, and this shit takes it up a notch even after that on the OP bullshit scale. Seriously... couldn't this be just a passive "shield"/layer on top of his real body or something? HP being plus health points that negate some damage and help with healing the real body underneath, along with some other health benefits maybe like less fatigue and stuff like that. But not this... i really don't like this aspect of the "Gamer" system cause i always feel that the MC has to suffer really hard for me to even feel a little bit worried about him. Duh, when going to bed can cure you of all ailments and wounds, where is the tension and excitement in that? The MC will survive everything and literally sleep out every negative aspect of a fight, if there was any. I hope this story will do a good job, or i will drop this fast as f.

Boring! He has technology, and now, he is a genius in mana manipulation and even received two OP and rare magic affinities... talk about giving an MC every ability on a silver platter. If he had only average or even less talent and thus used that and his tech to make unique things that would have been MUCH cooler in my opinion. Where is the STRUGGLE, where is the hardship, where is the hard work? I quite had enough of MCs that receive everything from the very start.

Shouldn't there be heavenly and/or universal laws of existence that would keep a being such as this "Devourer" either completely out or at least weakened in a magic-less/null universe? That is how i always imagined it, at least....
