*wall of text warning* I cant help but appreciate this series of comments. However, since the author came personally and said it was a throwaway line, doesnt that make you the misogynist, as it was your only line of thought. In my view I could see it as a case in which the baby gets restless when its not his mother that changes his diapers, or maybe since Darius died in his late seventies and Solena was his firstborn, there is a chance the child in question is 14 ish or older and is currently managing a company or two, to make a third generation of corporate geniuses and the term of changing diapers would be a code to get the wife to clean the mess as it could be out of the husbands area of expertise.
