So are these Scarlet Guards in any way related to the Crimson Guards last seen in chapter 5? The descriptions match. Powerful warriors with rune covered red armor. That said Ji Yichuan only had command of 100 Crimson Guards. If the Crimson Guard and the Scarlet Guard are the same thing I would expect Ji Yichuan to command more than 100 out of 500000.
