A simple sentence but full of emotions. If we put this in the place of the MC (not being able to go outside, getting hurt for every thing he wants to do) we can understand why he acts so desperate to "really" live.

My silencing spell lasted the entire flight which brought peace to the plane and allowed everyone to sleep. The child kept screaming but in silence which puzzled his parents, I would undo the spell when he wanted to talk or answer questions and when he began to scream, I would silence him again. It was annoying but at least it was peaceful.

She was pretty content with drinking alcohol, bonding with other members of the harem, and exploring the ever-changing Layers of the Little Garden, so, while she had noticed a number of issues as of late, they didn't really bother her.
