    He's a Pugilist, Warrior Seq 8

Hearing this, Mason relaxed a bit and carefully said, "What can I do for you? I'm not sure if my abilities can meet your needs."

And with "guy Who hates his inhuman heritage " we reached full Innsmouth reference

Discovering the truth about the Maidens of the Sea and his true lineage likely filled him with self-loathing and contempt for the entire sea prayer ritual. He'd rather forfeit his family's inheritance than marry another Maiden of the Sea. When the sea anomaly affected the entire Paco family, these emotions reached their zenith.

ooooh, the Pride armor would be a very nice piece of loot

Gardner Martin's adversary stood as his silver-white armor-clad body, lacking a head. The neck stump was drenched in blood.

Really? I specifically remember him doing It to intercept volleys of cannon fire, with Klein comparing his flame control unfavourably at least in terms of firepower

Over a hundred crimson fireballs erupted from the black spider's form, hurtling forward with menacing howls.

She's the Rosago of Demonesses, probably even worse

Powers have been used. Has it begun? She wondered if the imposter Theresa had initiated the powers of the Mother Tree of Desire pathway to flirt or if Franca Roland and her lover had already infiltrated the target location and were preparing to attack.

Darkness surrounding Lumian seemed to awaken, converging into pitch-black chains that aimed to ensnare him in place.

Or Styx, the Sanzu River etc. Lots of chtonic rivers and bodies of water in myth

Franca fell into a brief silence, then continued, "Back in my homeland, that elusive and mysterious river is known as the Yellow Springs."

Hmm, Danitz did use this one? In the Bansy fight, snakes and all.

By utilizing the ground as a conduit and drawing upon its own essence, Wall of Fire summoned forth a pair of flaming serpents that slithered toward the enemy, erecting a scorching barrier around them.

I Remember Danitz doing this, throwing a fireball inside a zombies mouth the making It explode

Fourthly, Lumian had mastered the art of delayed explosions. By employing additional spirituality and manipulating the structure, he could fashion a Flame Bomb that would detonate at a predetermined time, rather than immediately upon impact.

Well said Lumien. Shepards are Indeed arguably the scariest and toughest Seq 5. Mr A was the final boss of the Backlund arc for Klein so I wonder if Mr K will be similar.

The more Lumian pondered, the more dread Mr. K instilled in him.

even if this feels fast I wanna remind everyone that acting in the extreme can accelerate the digestion of the potion greatly. Klein made the example of a Provoker call Medici "Coward!" a couple of times being enough to fully digest the potion.

Distracted by these thoughts, Lumian suddenly felt as if the Hunter potion coursing through him had been fully absorbed.

So likely still not as good as the likes of Seer or Mystery Prier, but better than the more physical Seq. 9s like Hunter, Warrior or Assassin.

After the sounds subsided and him finishing the two mysterious dances, Lumian confirmed that the Dancer had enhanced his spirituality. Although he knew he was most likely inferior to Sequence 9s who excelled in spirituality, he had escaped the shackles of being a Hunter. He felt he was above average.

I was not expecting a Gundam reference, but IIRC the author said that in this book he will explore more of the Steampunk tech of the world so who knows, giant robot fights might actually be coming in the future. After all in the first book there was that one spider-tank.

I remember that fight, Klein couldn't even really parry Mersault's blows because when he did he basically got ragdolled. Pretty much won thanks to Clown's danger sense and perfect balance giving him the opportunity for a turn around.

I possess the strength of a bear and the agility of a cat. It's slightly equivalent to the combination of the two…
