Ki is not a very good idea, he would be required to oversee every construction project. Or teach others I guess, a waste of time either way. Though I do agree that aliens' material sciences are a good way to make money in the construction business. Now that i think about it, it would be quite revolutionary for earth in general. Nice thinking mate!

I've been putting this off for a while now, mostly because in this novel I've been on and off a million times (and I stopped reading it on webnovel, though I keep voting, lol sorry, just not a priority in my very limited spending list). First of all the harem. I shall start by saying that I hate when an incredibly talented/intelligent/powerful indvidual, be them males or females, falls for an incredibly ordinary one, relative to them. I just don't find it realistic. It is far more realistic in these kinds of worlds for the exceptional to have multiple companions who are not really their equal. I believe almost anyone would make such a choice (and those who say they wouldn't I won't believe it until I see it, sorry). All this is to say that I am pro harem. That said, I do not agree with how the author did it. Nobody, unless they are bysexual, would agree to be in an harem without sufficient benefits, and they have them here, the problem is that they all love the MC, and that is not realistic. It seriously bothers me. It feels way too much like wish fullfillment fantasy, something that has no business being in such a high level novel. Not to mention how quickly he collects them and the sheer number, I can't even remember them any more, it's crazy. But, I repeat, it would make sense if they were like a true harem, where they are either forced (not nice but more likely) or a part of it only for the benefits. I get that the MC is super outstanding and handsome, but dude, he needs more than the minor authority of time to satisfy the basic requirements of even the least involved relationship between two people with the number of girls he has. Honestly I'm kind of hoping most of them decide to just leave and settle down with someone else. They serve no purpose anyways, other than being cocksleeves obviously. And if they have any sense of self respect, and are truly not with him for the benefits, such an outcome is without a doubt the most likely in the long run. Next is the fillers. I'm conflicted about them. I appreciate the fact that the author is creating a world that doesn't revolve around the MC and where there are exceptional individuals with their own stories and circumstances. I also love the world building and the importance given to history. However, I have to say that sometimes it's a little too much, there are several chapters where literally nothing happens, both from the point of view of the story and the knowledge explained. Also the evercrown saga is an excellent occasion to expand upon side characters and the ascendants, but damn, it's neverending. Now, the one thing that bothers me the most. The mood swings of the MC, and others as well. By that I mean the sudden "soft expression" he shows his lovers outta nowhere, it feels so fake and forced. He looks like a goddamn lunatic, not to mention condescending. I'm saying this here but this is actually a cliché in just about any cultivation novel, other than er gen's of course, he's a master after all. But boy do I hate it, that's not how real people behave. Then the good stuff. Some of it I mentioned above, magnificent job on world building, character development, and story development. In addition I would add great writing quality, there are some mistakes but that's normal. Stability of updates is also really good, I've seen there are some guys complaining about it but I've been following since the beginning and aside a brief hiatus (I seem to remember, probably) and some instances likely caused by rl I've never noticed any inconsistencies, moreover we should always remember that authors are people with their own shit going on and being dickheads about timely releases is not a rather entitled approach to take when it comes to reading in general, let alone lighnovels. FINALLY, the greatest point of strength of the novel is, in my opinion, the uniqueness of cultivation. NOT of the MC's cultivation, but of cultivation in general. Each person is different from the other and it is only right that their paths differ. It's always a disappointment to read the linear paths of cultivation and the "ridiculous" combat strength of the MC that somehow remains constant despite the fact that he keeps seizing advantages that would leave experts a hundred realms above him "green with envy", justifying it by saying that the difference between each realm in higher realms is greater, conveniently forgetting that each new advantage is added to the previous ones and the foundation grows with each new addition. This is something I have seen only a few succeed in, chief among them er gen, another I like a bit less (mostly because of the tragically poor choice of weapon and the fact that the world could not revolve any more arund the MC) is Awespec in "Grand Ancestral Bloodlines". Overall, the score is a solid five stars. The negative aspects are based on personal preferences so I didn't really consider them, and even if I did the last point more than mekes up for them. P.S. for the author. I hate Na Xinyi, she is taking credit for accomplishments that are not her own, without Wei Wuyin not only would she have become a yin couldron, but she wouldn't have been able to obtain a tenth of the strength she has, literally everything she is was given to her and dares to claim it as her doing, that's disgusting. She's not even intelligent something both Yifei and Baozhai are. All this is to say that while I understand she serves a purpose for the MC as a cultivation couldron, I hope he will place requirements to actually becoming his wife. His wives will become empresses and rule the neo-dawn starfield, they must prove themselves capable of leading and caring about their subjects, Yifei and Baozhai have already done so, that bitch hasn't, in fact, the slut cares about nobody but herself and her reputation, she is not fit to be empress. Should he ever die, she'll be going off on her own while the starfiel and everything he built crumbles apart. Even Lin Zyian is a better wife candidate and she's as worthless as they come, though at least she knows gratitude.

fight scene in chapters 200-202 was fucking pathetic tho. Three idiots standing still and sending simultaneous attacks to each other.... man, I can't remember the previous ones but I really hope I never have to read something like that again.
