You'll get the rhythm back. I'm just glad you're back.
quick question. how hard can being emperor actually be. the current one is asleep all the time and everything runs just fine, and Rui's only motivation to be emperor is to maintain status quo if he became emperor couldn't he just tell everyone to continue business as usual and not bother him unless it was a national emergency and then spend 99 plus percent of his time training
I think that's the way this is going. I think he should show the recording to his allies in the Martial union and then convince them to call a meeting with the most powerful members of each of the prime candidates factions and strong arm them into backing a neutral candidate that will preserve the status quo and do not much else by threatening to throw their film support behind the martial prince of the don't.
Rui should have just told him the plan but then substituted Ieyasu for himself and then told him Ieyasu would never agree to help him.
that's what i was thinking arrange for him to face a series of prisoners and beasts and use mental techniques to make him think he's going to die if he loses. Maybe make him think his guards are distracted by other martial masters or just make him forget them.
that would be cool if he created a domain that amplified his mental attacks
for what Rui wants to accomplish he would probably need multiple domains so that he could pick and choose based on his current opponent the way he does with the hypnosis matrix.
so when discussing candidates there's been several mentions of the Martial Artists possibly being negatively affected by certain candidates which frankly doesn't make sense. They might not benefit the same way they would with the Martial Prince involved but regardless of who ends up involved there's no way they can force them martial artist to do anything they don't want to the Martial union would never allow it so unless one of the candidates has a martial transcendent backing them up I don't see whoever ends up being the emperor having ng the ability to affect them in any way. even if the had some powerful esoteric weapon that could take down the sages. all the martial artist would just leave.
So it's been mentioned a couple times that the martial union is supporting a specific prince how does that not end the competition. Even if that doesn't include the external members from everything we've seen regarding the personality of most martial artists they'd probably be happy to not get involved if the Union promised to keep things business as usual for them.
I'd be stunned if there's a single six year old on the planet that can run one mile at a sub six pace let alone two and a half. I ran track and cross country my entire time growing up and the youngest I ever saw anyone do it was Nine and that kid won a national championship.
