The point is that she’s been hiding her name all her life and should habitually be hiding it. To suddenly change her behavior even if it makes sense logically is odd because humans tend to be creatures of habit.

I foresee the Legion and Golgari trying to claim Anthony attacked them and/or reacted too strongly to a “mere accident”. Then get slapped down by the Brathians who immediately start demanding contractually required reparations from both groups and/or start putting in trade sanctions against them

Ignoring his protests, I bundle him up and get him thrown in with the bespoke furniture. People may not like having Assassin Demons around, but I'm not leaving him behind.
