Sorry to hear that! Merry Christmas!!
I agree, not only that but regardless of her cultivation level, she still really only has the mentality of an 8 year old... even if she is somewhat tenacious and courageous I feel it is very unrealistic that her 8 year old mind could survive the 99 samsara thing. That said, the main I stopped is because it was then revealed that Ning Shen was to be the male romance... Which is just gross, the first thing he says when he sees an 8 year old girl is "I must make her my wife" ?!?! That is a barely acceptable train of thought to have towards a grown woman. It sent me nothing but really creepy vibes... and makes me second guess my choices for reading any of the authors other works.
the concept that the heavens would recognize and punish a vow made by a ,6 year old kid, specifically one that didn't know what said vow meant, is a pretty lame plot device... especially since it's then hanging over her shoulders for the rest of her immortal life.
I really don't understand what is going on with this novel, I see plenty of hype.. but the tags seem way off. She gets a system, abilities and gear right off the bat but then doesn't explore them?! She very rarely used the system and instead of doing anything of note she finds menial labor and settles down in a town!? How is this action and adventure, let alone system... And to be clear, I would be fine with any of this if we understood the characters motivations. The only time we do, is when we hear her say she doesn't want to know more about her dagger, wanting to understand it herself... which she then doesn't do.
the fact that he cannot travel with his wives to the next world or even access avalon is stupid... it signals the worst sort of harem novel, the one where older wives that were acquired lose screen time and are no longer relevant to the story... *sigh* it was bad enough in one piece where we hardly heard from them
Who's to say the MC even needs to go from "earth" to the isekai'd world of Yggdrasil? Perhaps he bypasses it entirely and never was a game character to being with... also please please minimize the interactions with Momonga, but I'm all for making the Overlord arc longer, I love that world and (most) of the characters
agreed, momonga is a tool... his NPCs are cool though if you wanna steal them from him
I'd rather it be as AU / separate from the og plot as possible, while still re-using some of the characters
yea, I don't mind cleo per se.... but she forced herself on the MC... which isn't kosher, also... the MC needs to have more presence there, she was way to passive even if she's never been in a relationship she wouldn't NOT react / defend herself against those actions, it just seemed super forced
