It's not my cup of tea. Imagine a 40 years old martial art legend and professional assassin suddenly reverting into a teenager? Seems like a novel for children. His system is also very inconsistent he did a lot of potential missions, but no response from the system seems like the author just forgot about the system rewards and experience points.
Brad! 2025 na! Wla pa bang bago na updates?
As the novel progresses, it becomes a more generic chinese cultivation novel, chinese, Jade Emperor, Kunlun Sect, 4 divine beasts, etc... and less gun porn undermining its original title and foundation.
I like the idea of selling high-tech weapons on to another world, but MC's issues with his parents, romance, systems with attitude, and getting involved with random shit and cultivation just bothered me the most. This would be great without involving cultivation and romance. Just pure selling weapons, developing weapons from muskets, flint locks to missiles, just pure destruction, killing, plotting, and no family shit or romance would be very great instead. Have you seen the War Dogs or Lord of War movies by nicolas cage? or even anime like jormungand and black lagoon anime? those would be great references for this novel.
I got a mixed feeling on this novel. I think that it's good, but it sometimes frustrates me. The technology development of this novel is frustratingly slow despite coming from an engineering background from the future. I mean, why continue to stick to a capslock gun when you can directly proceed to a needle gun at least. and why he did not develop a breach loading cannon? I expect more army building, educational technology development, and more wars and killing with modern special ops style military tactics, but what i got is just petty schemes between nobles, royalty, and other countries and less action. Im not trying to compare this to tyranny of steel, but man, i wish it could achieve at least 20% of that.
There are not too many details about monions skills after they level up. i noticed that the author stopped sharing the progress of the minion skill like the scout for example they gathered too many resources and they should have leveled up quite a lot but what new skills did they received after they reached certain levels is not properly detailed, its not what i expected on a minion system. Also, this novel is too short, and i really dislike the POV part. Most of the POV part i considered as a filler for additional content only and skipped the majority of them.
It's such a shame, man. i really loved this novel. Which chapters are from godfather? can't you just revise it or something?
not worth the time and money. I dropped this after chapter 596, I got really sick and tired of all the BS on this novel.
It's just your average Chinese martial arts / cultivation novel set in the modern world. Antagonist and plot design are just too generic and repetitive. Contents like this are very common in all Chinese martial arts novels.
I really thought he was someone who is a hidden OP character who just decided to retire and chill. What a letdown.
