"I mean you're basically watching the exact same story with a new coat of paint every time you send someone over into these worlds. A person with an overpowered ability trounces any adversity they face and live a life free of struggle. I mean, don't we like to root for heroes because we get to see them struggle? A story where the hero overcomes every obstacle easily isn't a very entertaining one."

The crowd had been waiting for a while, every time someone would step through, they'd be surprised by a gathering of so many people and cameras. Some partially famous people would put on a surprised expression, misunderstanding that the crowd was waiting for them, but their delusions would quickly get crushed when they would be completely ignored.

I have no idea what imbuing the energy would do to me, except this. I know in the same way I know the sky is blue that if I were to ever imbue the energy there would be no going back. It would irrevocably change both myself and my powers.

germs and bacteria technicaly have a lot of interesting traits
So, scooping up a handful of dirt she placed it in her mouth and chewed, swallowing it. She didn't have to worry about any germs on it, and while she did feel weird eating dirt that was just laying around the forest, she knew it would help her grow.
