What i meant is, he clearly states that when he was playing the VR game, the equipment had auto-fit. Now that he lives in the game(?), it doesn't. Thus the doubt. Of course, the fact that there's an item in his new life that's the same as in the game strongly suggests that he's in the game, just that some functions don't work for non-players... But still, the doubt, so far, remains.

these sound more and more like firedarts instead of fireballs... Where are the AOE effects of a proper fireball? in a room, lots of fireballs = fire everywhere = roasted goblin, cuz the mage has his shield.

you can dodge the fireball, but can you dodge the explosion too? especially in an enclosed space...

so the universal treasure respawns? it's not unique? although obviously it's not unique since the MC got it in the game and now got it again as a goblin. Still, wierd that such treasures respawn...

what the heck, the shamelessness of this author, that is paid by word i presume, has reached a hundred-fold increase, he's using his system to upgrade. How many chapters will he waste on the same actions? First we have the MC POV's chapters, and then we have at least two times more chapters with the reaction of the peanut gallery in another POV?!? The other authors at least keep the 'wow, so amazing' POV in the same chapter, without rehashing and repeating the same action in different POVs...

Who is this Will, I don't remember him being introduced, and he seems such an important side character, to have an even more important side character wanting to live so much... *grin* The paragraph reminded me of the joke with 'fire at will' and Will not being so happy about that, thus the comment...

Well, I tink i taw a puttycat... err.. inconsistency. If wisps are created, as in the analogy, from the remains of the creation of a true spirit, how come there's no true spirits left? After all, when a wisp is born that implies a true spirit was also born, or more precisely vice-versa, otherwise there are no 'square cloth remains' to become a wisp if the 'cloth circle' didn't become the true spirit first... And seeing as how there are numerous wisps... coalescing.. in every mortal universe, that implies that at least as many true spirits are also formed...
If not for that, there should have still been some True Spirits left on the God Realm and not become one of the legends, only known about but never encountered. - akaDEA2yrCommented

The only reason Benjamin and himself became friends was because they were assigned the same room to share. Well, it wasn't the only reason. Benjamin was also the son of a merchant, but was the fifth son. Luckily for him, his father had several connections within the nobility. This allowed Benjamin easy access to the academy, unlike Ryan. Ben was also fourteen years old, but was a few inches taller than Ryan was, making him appear older. They both had dark brown hair, but Ryan had green eyes as Ben had brown. When they walked together down the halls, if one didn't know any better, they could be mistaken as brothers, with Benjamin being the older one.
