I would have thought underground or in a volcano would be a better place to put the Balrog. Heck you could even use the Balrog as a catalyst and try to cause an eruption or create a brand new volcano.

You used the wrong placement for the 'Special' ranks. I think the placement of ninja ranks should be 'Special-' Genin/Chunin/Jounin, Genin/Chunin/Jounin, and then 'Elite-' Genin/Chunin/Jounin. Pretty sure that the Special Jounin (& possibly Chunin) rank actually exists in Canon but it represents ninja that are talented/specialized in 1 specific area or discipline which they used to advance while their other disciplines are weak or lackluster. Thus being slightly weaker in everything but their specialty than a normal Jounin. For example a genjutsu specialist like Kurenai would be a Special Jounin that is strong in genjutsu but average or slightly weak in everything else. Whereas an Elite Jounin would be someone like Kakashi who excels in several areas and is close to the Kage level.

Possible abilities: Lightning Absorbtion, Lightning Body Refiniement, Lightning Chakra Attunement.

If the MC is petrified, stunned, or otherwise forced to be unable to play or listen to music due to an outside influence for a long period will he then enter withdrawal symptoms or accidental magic once the outside force is released and he is free? Alternatively will his magic go berserk while he is unconscious or trapped by the spell or outside force? (Possibly resulting in the sheer chaos and/or amount of the accidental magic freeing him from the spell or curse he is under?) Or will he simply not have any reaction, at least if he is unconscious, and continue on as normal?

Fujin could try to have his Shiden identity focus his battle style around taking control of the battlefield through various traps with Fuinjutsu. For example in his bases or during battles he could create heavy & light gravity zones with seals in certain areas, trapped storage seals that will release their contents if a ninja or chakra touches them (like large amounts of weapons, water, rocks, etc...), paralysis seals, and many more options. If he adds poison to the mix it would be even more effective.
