It's an archaic form of speech, used in modern day either for that "archaic" feel or to put an emphasis on something.
That's the point!
Didn't take off, grew bored of trying hard just to see abysmall numbers at the end of the day. Welcome to capitalism!
Yes and no. In business (just like in writing) the value of something often has nothing to do with its actual value but what value can be added. MC alone doesn't have the ability to add much value to his projects, he just deals with their inherent value. By joining hands with a bigger entity that can add a lot of "theoretical/branding/etc" value to the product. Then, there's a whole slew of other reasons of having distribution channels, political power to lobby for laws/concesions etc. Ultimately, though, Tim gets rich, gets hot babe, gets everything his soul could desire... So why ask for more? Just to see numbers increase on some imaginary bank statement? (And what if he marries into the clan by marrying Claire? Then any sort of transfers from Chihiro or any of his corporation to Tim would be nothing more than pulling out from one pocket only to put it in another)
The less you know, the better you sleep :D For real, though, since its not a plot I'm just discarding now that it served a purpose, you can expect to get the answer to this question. As for when... That's a whole other topic :D
I'm gonna be honest here. I have an engineer father who actually understands those concepts. So, there were few instances in my life when I sat down with him and asked for him to explain the whole idea of electricity - in the end, however, I never really grasped it by heart (which is something I need to properly understand... internalize the concept?) That's why, while I do have some limited knowledge on electricity, I do take a bit of creative freedoms with it and how it interacts with spiritual energy of the world. Just a small caveat :3

Yep, fixing right now, thanks! (Editing content can sometimes delete paragraph comments so I hope you won't think i deleted it >.>)
Let me clarify a bit, this seagway is into the deeper plot of the story, not exactly the "ntr-aimed conflict" itself. I intentionally used this idea to kinda hide it in the plain sight, but isn't this pretty much the first time you learn about the existence of a spiritual world? :D
There's no straight that a little bit of touching tips won't fix! (Yes, I'm Straight) (Yes, I do Gay-Jokes)
