Very interesting story and concept that usually doesnt pan out well but in this case it has been so far. But author, you want readers to pay $23 USD to read from ch41 to ch127. Buddy, that aint happening, you are going to lose more than like 80% of your readers instantly when hit with that roadblock because you got greedy and then more than likely this story is going to die if it hasn't anyway, also doesnt help that the only other website its on is also monetized, sad to see it but oh well, time for a new story and to remove this one from my libary.

(Very late reply) Yeah except even if you look at the kid friendly pokemon shows, the world almost ends every two weeks, and its not all solved by ash as well with his mega plot armor, many other world ending events are stopped by the skin of their teeth by other trainers in the nick of time usually at the expense of their lives, and honestly, if you pay attention, tons of people and Pokémon die all the time during the shows, its just not focused on.
