Nothing special or amazing, but this was a pretty enjoyable novel. A bit of r18 scenes, super op mc, and pretty minimal annoying/super cliche things. Unfortunately, I ended up dropping this because the strengths of people and items, value of things, and some interactions between characters were messy and didn't make sense. I don't understand why he was op. What did he have that made him stronger than the rich people from noble families that also had strong gear and skills? Unless I missed something, he didn't have anything unique that they didn't already have, but he was much stronger for seemingly no reason. He also was randomly much better at using his skills, which was unrelated to any of his talents or items. It said people have to train in the element for the skill to get more proficient with it and he never did. Dropped because of this on ch90.

Excellent novel, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The main character is very cunning and calculating. His power is op and interesting. I really liked the combination of magic and technology in the world he was reincarnated in. There's not many if any cliche or overly annoying things. He doesn't make many mistakes and the ones he does are reasonable, not something stupid that could have easily been avoided. Read to ch477

Omg is this finally the first person with a brain who uses a summoning/necromancer class like it should be used? Amazing. Actually using the stat points that benefit him instead of spreading them evenly or focusing ones that his class don't use well.

Solid novel that is sadly marred by the usual drama and bs cliches. Started off well with mc becoming ridiculously op, but then it had to change direction once he hit the current limit of strength basically. Tbh I wish it took the power up arc more slowly and focused more on the details of his powers and abilities instead of skipping over that just to get to the trash parts filled with drama, etc. Nobody is perfect, so making a more realistic slightly flawed character is fine, but the annoying things were just building up too much for me to continue. People finding out his identity, him basically losing control of the situation because of that, him being selfless and helping random people and giving away stuff for no reason, etc. Dropped around ch 150

Wish we saw more about his skills and talents that made him so op

He should be offloading his gold coins because they will depreciate over time as more people get them. While he has all the supply he can sell for a much better price even if he dumps a lot and the price lowers some because of that. Dumping it all later will just be worse because more people will have gold coins to sell then, so there will be more total on the market. If he needs gold coins later he can buy them back with the real money he got, but it will be cheaper then so he will profit. Holding gold coins while they depreciate is such a waste.

Yea that was terrible even with the ending. He took so many unnecessary risks. If you say the reason he did the fighting himself and took hits like that was to distract her, then he should have just used his minions instead because she doesn't know how many he has. And even that wasn't necessary, just use numbers to wear her down and then the archer kills her when she's tired. He chose like the worst method to beat her

Agreed, and idk why he isn't using the duel skill to steal stats and abilities. Unless that skill has limitations I missed, seems like a huge waste not to use it all the time. His sleeping xp skill is about the most useless one because he's just getting to the level limit faster for no reason instead of making himself stronger.

Can anyone explain why he would want to upgrade his magic stat? Seems like he's just wasting stat points instead of using them on the stats he uses

Trash, lots of cliche and annoying things already in just the first few chapters... Mc just randomly did things and didn't consider how to best use his cheat. Dropped

It was ok for a while, but then I lost interest. All his abilities and techniques becoming useless when he goes up a cultivation level is lame and he does some dumb things without thinking about the consequences basically. Taking a cultivation path that he has no idea how he will complete. It requires hundreds or thousands a specific drop of a specific element he's only gotten once, but he chooses it anyways. Then he goes into a secret realm to fight people in his cultivation realm when he is the weakest of that level and can't cross levels to beat stronger people and has no countermeasures if he encounters someone strong, so if that happens he just dies... Obviously things happen to resolve those issues, but mc had no idea about that and just went yolo with no plan at all. Dropped ch116 because I also don't like his choice of cultivation element, seems kinda bad since it's not useful during most of the time I'd imagine people will be fighting and doing stuff...

I really enjoyed this novel. Supposedly it has been dropped by the author though and if so, that is really sad. I also am surprised so many people disliked this novel and rated it poorly. I guess they just want the usual generic novels that you see get really popular for seemingly no reason. This one is different, mc is very steady and while he might not do everything perfectly efficiently, I think he does a pretty good job of making use of what he has available to him. In his pursuit of being steady and minimizing risks, he sometimes chooses to go with the flow and get as much benefit as he can out of a disadvantageous situation instead of trying to fight it and most likely end up in a worse situation anyways (assuming he wouldn't get some bs unreasonable plot armor like most mc would). Mc is truly steady and does things in a way that won't bring him attention or trouble even if that means potentially losing out on some benefits. I like this because I also think going for those benefits is too risky and would be detrimental to get a short term gain for long term trouble. This is my second favorite novel with a steady mc behind top tier providence.

Trash novel in a trash genre that doesn't do the single thing that I read these types of novels for... The only reason I enjoy some of these as a guilty pleasure is if they have an ability that they exploit well. This one doesn't focus much on their ability and just does random unrelated stuff. If it focused on him farming souls to upgrade his demon ability so he could summon more demons, I might have kept reading it.

Very good novel, but a few things made me drop it. Mc starts off as very cautious, he's pretty op, and there's not much cliche or annoying random stuff. What made me drop it is that I just got bored of it. His power ups don't matter and don't make a ton of sense either. He just has to pay the system enough and he can beat anyone, so his personal power doesn't even matter. Also, his power ups aren't as satisfying for me because he doesn't do much to like effectively get them, they're just handed to him for free basically. He doesn't have any interesting strategy to get money or anything. Also, he stopped being cautious and just reveals his system and his power, which brings trouble their way. So I'd say it was very good until maybe ch100, then I started losing interest and dropped eventually around ch160.

Lol I like that the bribery is so organized. Figured the money would all be used up once he got into the sect.
