That just means your knowledge isn't as complete as you think. I know about at least 4 countries in Europe that use such system. We even have a meme about it. "When there is a mistake in the timetable, and two teachers meet in the same classroom."

Immediately Orochimaru was pushed back as Jiraiya was literally opening a can of whoop-ass on him. Letting his righteous anger out for all the shit Orochimaru has done to him, and his friends in the dark. Gamabunta unfortunately was slowly losing in the exchange with Manda, that's where I'll be needed.

When the spear left my hand I heard a large bang as it broke the sound barrier, and the next thing I saw was the cockroach was missing its head. Smiling, I grabbed my spear and ran, catching up to Jiraiya and Gamabunta who were bounding towards the snake and Pedomaru, I mean Orochimaru.

Alexander had silently banned the alchemical ritual to make the philosopher's stone. Punishment for this crime was death. Also, because of Alexander's free Alchemy classes, the people became a bit more knowledgeable about it and learned its dangers. - H_Alex2dCommented
