You are assuming that once all ace mechs are upgraded, they will stop sending the wce mech on the rotation. Ves would not agree to that. Calabast will not let a loophole like that to exist. And the hexers will not want to irritate ves by trying to use such a loophole.

You do understand that right now, she is more larkinsen than hexer. While the glory seekers are following her, she uses most of her time for the larkinsen clan. Even if she is persuading ves to help her parents state. She follows ves in the schedule and gets something from the hexers for whatever help they do for them. One last thing- ves asking her to get the hexers to foot the bill is him accepting the hexer way - I.e: women in charge and they pay for his family. Him paying makes it look more like she married into his clan than he married into hers and became her sugar boy.

Right… stand bravely behind an ace mech that does nothing to protect the thousands of people dying- many of whom would have survived if that axe had made a move.

He had already mentioned that those staying in davute would not be given as much preferential treatment as the main fleet. If any decide to stay in davite, they should be pushed down the list. Any first order upgrades should be denied to them until the actual fighters of his expedition gets them first.

Yeah right. Ves should be asking him if he knew any other organisation that produced as many expert pilots or expert candidates in such a short time period and from such a small number of pilots. More % of pilots became experts under ves’s expedition than in any fight against other humans.

Let them choose their own way forward. Your main fleet already has enough expert mechs as it is, especially when we consider that you are working on adding three new expert mechs to your lineup. He can. Actually. If he decides to go to their level and play hardball, he can tell them that if they want to fight for the state, they can do that using state mechs. The mechs and expert mechs that HE developed and built USING money and material for from ATACKING aliens instead of other humans will continue to be used for the expedition.
