Ravel doesn't like to fight, but she does participate and can be a threat when she feels like it. And no, Riser actually has a full set with no mutlipieces. Admittedly, most of them are really forgettable, like the maids and dancer pawns getting off-screened by Kiba in canon. It was fine, though letting him play in the rating game without actually being in the peerage feels kinda cheap and lazy. It's barely held together by metaphorical duct tape with it being more of an informal, private match and Riser okaying it, but it doesn't actually feel like something that would be okayed in canon. There were other ways to potentially deal with it. Challenging Riser to a 1v1 in place of the rating game as Rias' champion, taking Issei's place at the party post loss, dealing with the marriage through other channels like a business deal with HP potions, either with the Gremorys or the Phenex, etc. If he had to be in the rating game, coulda just made the Evil Piece a temporary thing through Race Change mechanics. He accepts the Bishop (assuming his Gamer status lets him cheat the cost for Rias, because no way a non mutated Bishop would actually be enough) and after the match, he just casually pushes the piece out and hands it back to everyone's dumbfounded surprise.

Top 50 in the world? I really hope that's Riser just being an unreliable narrator, because he shouldn't be even remotely close with just what he has so far. Forget 9x, Even 100x Start of Canon Riser isn't reaching that level on a world wide scale. Just the Three Factions? Maybe. World Ranking? Definitely not. DxD actually has A Lot of strong characters, both canon and just implied to exist by virtue of being an 'all supernatural is real' type world.

I do vaguely remember that Lucifer (and maybe the other satans?) have the multiple pairs of wings gimmick that the angels and fallen do.

So is the extra 5 free points part of Izuku's 'cheat' or something everyone who gets the system from the portals has? If everyone else just gets the normal 10, and Izuku gets 15 for him and his allies, that'd certainly make the system being spread around more palatable. Just the perks(and things like location tracking) make the party system 'worth it' in universe but kinda meh from a reader perspective

Do they? What exactly leveling up does isn't obvious. It gives free points that need Izuku to spend, but I don't recall any other benefit such as improving stat growth from training or adding assigned stats in addtion to the free points being mentioned.

Shoto and Bakugo not accepting the 'free' power up and putting it into luck(potential) instead was a nice touch. Though, is luck only exp, or does it help stat growth too? If it only helps exp, kinda doesn't do anything (besides whatever boosts to actual luck it gives) if you're never going to accept spending the free points elsewhere (unless level ups come with attribute points already assigned or some other benefit in addition to the free points?)

Sairaorg should still have a mutated pawn; Regulus only took 7. Which considering a much weaker Rias could do Issei with 8 (and Draig was basically all of that; Issei would be worth less than a pawn on his own) and pieces scale with the king's strength, makes sense. Mind you, being a Campione would still probably disqualify him even in the theoretical case he wanted too, as they don't work on Gods. Though they do work on half-Reapers and Valkyries, so there's clearly a line where at least some divinity can be made to work.

Air Gear has become strangely popular lately. I've been seeing it show up it multiple fics.

This chapter probably would've hit harder if it wasn't the most obvious route from the very moment she was chosen as his trainer. It's still sad, even if she's coming back (will it be 'her' or just a copy is the question) but when you spend the whole arc knowing that it's probably coming, you're mentally prepared when it does. Downside of using such a famous character I suppose.

Ordinarily I'd be all for adding Setsuna, and a couple other 1-B Girls are good too, but yea, for this story, keeping it to 1-A and maybe a couple others is for probably for the best. Maybe if the Harem was pre-planned and/or wasn't all of 1-A from the beginning she'd have been a good candidate. Honestly, it's fine what it is now, 1-A, Mirko, Kinda Mei, Kinda-sorta/maybe Midnight. Maybe in the future Melissa Shield. I really hope it doesn't go Inko, it'd be disappointing to see the character and you as an author cave to it, but if it does, it does, and the commenters really seem to want it for some reason.

"Then let's shift gears and pick up the pace..." Imagine him getting dragged into the mindspace for that quirk's unlock right then and there lol. Happy for the power, annoyed for the timing.

It's much better. Still prefer if he just got the memories of the changes to avoid all the awkwardness and hiccups that causes, but outside of what's different with Rumi, them missing isn't quite as drastic, so I guess it's fine to just deal with it. At least it's a big step up from missing the start of an entire relationship with Eri on top of a bunch of other small things that add up.

This isn't the worst and I can live with it; I probably would have just preferred a redo from before Toga though. If so little has changed, then having that goddess scene is just unneeded and messy. Especially getting to actually see the initial meeting and development with Eri, even if getting her so easily feels kinda cheap. It doesn't have to be some great quest, so I guess being a chance encounter and much easier than expected is fine. Then there's the goddess just fixing little things like having Inko work out and get with All Might that feels like an odd way to do a retcon; they ultimately don't matter, but it probably would've been better to just have had those things in the story to begin with. Tis fair if you don't wanna go back and edit those chapters, that's a lotta work for little gain, but it does come off as messy because of it. Could do a small compromise; meeting Eri as the 'key' is what triggers the goddess, she explains what little she can about the situation, and offers the little fixes and the titles as compensation or something.

Even if it'll be explained, him not just having the memories from the start just feels bad and hurts the story. All powerful characters tampering with things against the main character, even for 'their own good', almost never feels good; the least she could do is make the transition smoother.

I'm not sure the soft-reboot was the right move. It's especially bad not having the needed memories up front. If this is the only way for you to course correct the story (versus just deleting and redoing it from before Toga's introduction or something), He, and thus us readers, should immediately get every change as part of the package; like a summary chapter. Making him and thus us 'figure it out' makes the abrupt shift and transition more difficult than it needs to be and the transition to what is effectively an alternate timeline is already a rough thing for the story to begin with. Him not having the needed memories and context is even bad for the characters. He effectively has no relationship with Eri, and who knows what changed with the others.

Toga being a waifu candidate had fairly decent odds (though not that high; she is a psychotic villain that the other girls would need a lot of convincing to allow and probably hurt his rep with them for even considering it without a very convincing reason), and her showing up soonish was more or less certain, so it's not that shocking. That said, I certainly didn't think it would be this soon or in this matter. If I had to guess, I would've bet on her trying to impersonate one of his girls and him catching her with his observe or something.

It might be a good idea to add an author's note to EPIC that this story exists, how to find it, and that it is caught up to new content.
