Yeah, it does come across as convenient. However, consider this. If you think about it, her powers of Divination are making it advantageous for her. So it is not happening because it is convenient, but because her divination works that way. Also, things are quite convenient for Sam as well. An underground organization that comes to kill them and just happens to be connected to the magical world?? And the only ones they send to kill just happen to be squibs and not werewolves or something else?? Convenient would you not say?? Life is full of lovely little ironies and I know this is cliche but cliches work, thats how they get to be cliches. Anyway, wait a few chapters. Hopefully I can convince you that state of things are no longer convenient for both Sam and Veronica.

Actually hypnosis has been used in therapy for many situations where a person has experienced something so traumatic that they are unable to go back to their normal lives. Hypnosis as a medical therapy is a real thing. Of course there are people who use it for manipulating others qhich is where the perception that hypnosis is bad comes from. Hope this clears it up. The grandparents are just worried about their only living relative and they are simply following the doctor's advice .

Up close, yes you would see it. But from afar in the dark, think of how such a large sized man will look to an eleven year old. Most kids will just turn back and run away.

not exactly since i am doing mba and it has constant submissions and competitions the last week was especially tough since we had midterms, but i normally also have a lot of things to study when i get some free time in between i write then sorry but the rate of releasing chapter will not be improving much

This is actually expalined in the next chapter when it will be released, but I can tell it here since its not that big a part. They are a muggle family and thus need muggle comforts to live. Imagine if you are not able to perform magic but are living in a magical house. Chances are you will die of boredom. Muggles need other things such as news, TV, meeting other people, none of which can be done at a magical house that is hidden from view and nobody remembers due to fidelius. So they will live in the normal muggle world and only in emergency case they will move to the magical house.

While they were waiting for the house-elf agency to get an house elf, Sam added a complete gunsmith workshop, in the basement of course, complete with a shooting range and tried to test fire some guns. Tried being the key word here. The gun literally exploded in his hand and if it was not for the fact that he was wearing his Head of House ring his hand would be gone. After trying again with some other guns and getting the same result, they figured out why magical world was so backward as compared to muggle world. No muggle appliance worked properly. The only ones that worked were mechanical in nature and as soon as some more modern concept is applied it simply stops working.
