The author of this novel is same one as Castle of Black Iron and Siover Overlord. So, as we can expect good world building and good plot. Drunk Tiger has outdone both of this other works by a good margin. The World building and background is good. The cultivation system is interesting too. MC is very calm and rational guy with lot of hidden secrets and is not afraid to break law and get his hands dirty. As we expect from Drunk Tiger , there is simmering undertone of nationalism but seems to be more subdued than others novels and deosnt look like playing a important role. Overall , clearly the best novel of this lot of trial reads with no stupid system , foolish MCs or arrogant young masters. Strongly recommend to vote for this. The quality of novel is quite clear in the Frist 20 chapters though translation could be better.

He becomes a Navy officer and trains hard to improve his strenght. The world is very mystical with lot of strong people dangerous Churches and empires. The story has Pokemon like pets along with cultivation which increases as pets become strong. The world building is great with lotmof variety of pets, different skill strengthened from training of pets. The MC is rational and story starts out well. What I like: There are no stupid young arrogant masters and needless conflicts The fights are good. There is no stupid system which makes MC overpowered. The cheat cannot be really called a cheat too. He just can identify few stronger pets. There is no sudden powerful orMC being insanely kucky. This is the best story of the all trial reads. It's a notch higher than all pet stories translated here. Pkease vote for it instead of stupid senseless system story written by author with a IQ of a child.

I wanted to review this because it’s a solid story. The world building is very nice and expansive. The plot is good too. MC is very calm and rational and has two cute pets. He has a small cheat but it’s not like those cliches system stories. There is not some huge luck factor that MC becomes all powerful. There is solid plot and progressive small improvements. Overall, solid xianxia story and by far the best of this batch. Of course, it’s not as good as Reverend insanity and Lord of mysteries but is surely in next tier. There is pokemon like cultivation novel with wide range of pets and abilities. This makes the world very interesting. There are so many professions and pets. The world building is brilliant.
