Anybody else notice that this takes place in the United States, but they are using creatures of Chinese myths as the names for Perigrine Hall. I don't know about you but I'm pretty sure that the only high class people who would do that are Chinese immigrants and the triad. Not to mention in western countries the when a couple gets married one gives up the maiden name (females) Yvette Larson would actually be known as Yevett Taylor and Karen James would be known as Karen Larson.

Me, I wanted the possession and allegiance of the strongest wand of the world. I barely paid attention to Dumbledore's subsequent begging about the light side, nor I paid much attention to Snape's anguish as he tried to gather his courage to kill his mentor. My whole attention was to cast two spells without someone noticing, happy that Draco's skills were available for me. First, a switching spell, switching Draco's old wand and Elder Wand, causing a comfortable warmth to spread in my body as soon as I held it in between my fingers. With the possession of the Elder Wand, the second spell was ridiculously easy, transforming the shape of my old wand to Elder Wand, and putting an illusion on the Elder Wand to make it look like my own wand. there are prefects with the students going back to the dorm rooms. it would make more sense to go help Ivy and Hermione since they have less training than the prefects do.

I'm guessing this is based off the novel and not the movie. In the Harry Potter movieverse Beauxbaton is an all girls school, but in the books it has at least 4 boys in attendance
