the only mistake I feel i made was making this world inconsequential compared to the omniverse but that was gonna happen eventually. my main goal for this story was to prep for the sequel. where the mc travels to different universes as an op character using his avatars to experience them and learn different concepts. i was gonna try to make the story last but I don't want to write useless arcs and events just to creat action for no reason. mc is already grown. he doesn't need much character growth. so exploration is the name of the game. hopefully I get inspiration for the world. sorry for your emotional upheaval. i know how it feels to have a story fall short but no worries. i don't like situations where mcs is forced against his will, so it won't happen.

you have to keep in mind. she is not mortal. she has only two goals, to regain her lost humanity and to further her understanding of the concepts. fundamentally she does not care for mortals and their schemes. if anything she would be happy if the mc gets to her level. it would provide her one more peer to converse with as an equal. life and death does not apply to someone at their level. she has no need to control something she considers no different than a slightly smarter monkey. don't mistake the emotions her avatar shows as something she feels. it's all simulated. it is one of the reasons she focuses on karma. to understand lower life forms better and regain a bit of the humanity she has lost by ascending. the mc or any other human save for her daughter mean nothing to her.
