Completely agree. I originally thought queen might be a decent character who supported her son and his choice in consort but she become just as annoying as the rest. and his dad is an ansolute Idiot. You would think after what they know about he they would smarten up but no. I want her to put the fear of freaking god in them before leaving.

And how long after they until the misunderstanding is resolved (with the mind control not her family, frig them)

This is a really fun read. It Moves away from some of the romance style. you an idea of what might be happening but without being given the whole picture
