D*mn, that takes me back, I think I also started around that time at volarenovels until the translator dropped (can't remember why). I remember reading HSSB (History's Strongest Senior Brother, which was also dropped) and CCG there. The translator here once even continued from where he left at (around 138 I think?) that sparked great outrage from readers. I didn't even know about it being translated here until Wei (from Wei Translations, currently at W*xiaWorld) mentioned about various translation inaccuracies from this translation. I really liked his translations but in the end, he also dropped losing motivation or something. I got no choice but to move here with me really liking the novel. I really would've preferred the Pinyin versions of the name but I got used to it and doesn't really find it bad now. It's also one of the few novels I've never stopped reading. I love the amusing interactions between characters, endless hilarious situations and antics, just generally I look forward towards Shuhang's adventures. Not even halfway into the end of the novel he's already getting acquainted and even antagonizing some of the most powerful (?) beings in the universe (most other novels I've read just incrementing in realms as the story progresses). I love his ridiculous feats and achievements he's been doing (although it really is just him having good acquaintances and extremely good luck). Those are only a few reasons from many why I like CCG.

You're right, of course it has been hinted/foreshadowed heavily before but just as I said, it is "confirmed" this chapter. I'm just saying the liquid metal ball's conversation with White taking up most of the chapter (which I think you mean at least) has not "wasted" the chapter. We learned from their conversation that they have an opportunity "to go to the main world" and "to use the authority the Heaven's Will" once each. It has been confirmed that the liquid metal ball had already used both: he had gone to the main world for some reason to deal with the scholarly faction, killing the Scholarly Sage in the process which is recounted by the Scholarly Sage in ch.741 (if I understood it correctly), while he used the authority of Heaven's Will to destroy the ancient Heavenly City which is also confirmed this chapter. On the other hand, Netherworld White still has not used both of them and is about to use both for Shuhang. We (and Shuhang) might never have learned the significance of going to the main world as a Netherworld ruler and using the authority of Heaven's Will if the liquid metal ball didn't b*tch about it. I hope I got my point across and/or understood what you were trying to say.

The conversation between White and the liquid metal ball had been quite a bombshell of information (White being confirmed a previous Wielder of the Will, liquid metal ball destroying ancient Heavenly City, etc.). I at least wouldn't say it's a "waste".

I was thinking about similar stuff that you more or less covered, thank you. Aside from his luck, his list of acquaintances and are insane as well (although that could also be attributed to his luck). To add, that liquid metal ball emoji-man really did a good amount of nasty stuff in the world of cultivation like killing the Scholarly Sage and using his one-use Heaven's Will ticket for f*cking up the ancient Heavenly City. It is amazing that the Scholarly Sage put up a good fight against a Netherworld ruler though (I just looked up ch 741 again), I wonder what was taken from the liquid metal ball's existence. It makes me also think of the Almighty Merchant that is able run away from Netherworld Ruler White himself, maybe he is about the same power level as the Scholarly Sage back then.

I don't think that would happen, he still has to do his solidifying of his foundation for each realm. Plus there are like 1800+ raw chapters left.

I've always loved the tribulations of MCs on Xianxia/Xuanhuan novels. Shuhang's tribulations are no exception but d*mn, I love how his tribulations are ridiculously beyond his league compared to most other novels' tribulation and with him not having great talent on cultivation nor a unique bloodline or constitution, just with his monstrous double-edged luck and acquaintances. Just a few months into cultivation and he's already taking the fifth "exam". Looking forward to this tribulation. I thought his next tribulation would be a more normal one, but this time, I think it might turn out to be even more OP than his previous one. Good luck Shuhang!
