[1] ED/N: The Chinese have a tendency to repeat the same word for emphasis or in emotion several times. The one most common in novels is when some guy is angry so he says “good!” thrice (with the meaning being sth along the lines of, “good job pissing me off”). There are probably some rules regarding what kind of words can be repeated (one of such rules is probably that only short 1-character words can be repeated like that) but I’m not Chinese so I don’t know about it too well. - SilverNexusPendrag1yrCommented
I just have to give the author a big thumbs up. I've read many novels but this is a rare sight. Even on the first page of the book I can tell this writer is experienced and knows how he wants his/her story to unfold. I can't wait to see what he has planned for the book.

Great start, love the world building and how the author brings the reincarnation into the world. I gwt the feeling he is pulling from her past experiences and unconsciously making her ideals his own. A good way to tie in the character with out it feeling forced, compared to other stories this is an interesting method of transition.

The idea and premise of the story is a great one. The idea of a kingdom having such a ritual in order to choose a crown prince/princess is in many way like those in old Norse or even that of Rome where only the act of suffering can one become strong enough to lead. However I only have one thing negative to say and that is the story is moving too fast as it feels like its on fast forward,

Kana landed on the ground, put both hands on her hip, and tilted her head back while laughing out loud. The man who was just watching the sunrise turned his head to see a small figure with horns tail, and a pair of dragon wings on her back. She had long red hair that flowed down past her knees and lightly tanned skin. The small figure also did not have a single stitch of clothing on her as well. Why her?
