I hope the author is alright. Looking forward to your comeback!

I didn't expect to love this novel so much! The main character is clumsy and endearing, and starts off weak but gradually grows stronger. She's always being challenged by beings stronger than her and by her own system and you're always looking forward to the next (well-deserved) power up. She often has to rely on her allies, pets and companions to make progress, but every now and then she'll get an opportunity to show off her powers. I hate the kind of novel where the MC is completely overpowered and overshadows every other character, making them useless and burdensome, so this dynamic is very welcome. The setting is well developed and the cultivation/qi/magic/skill systems all make sense. The pacing is also really good, neither fast nor slow. The "Fox" theme is ever present and it even takes quite a long time (well over 100 chapters) for the MC to even gain a human form. I really like how the author incorporated this into the world and story and didn't just use it as a cheap gimmick that quickly gets forgotten (I'm looking at you, TenSura). There are still a few small problems here and there, such as grammar slips that lead you to believe English is not the author's first language, and not every arc is equally interesting. While I wouldn't call it a masterpiece by any means, it's definitely solid and one of my favorite novels of all time. Looking forward to future arcs and chapters [img=recommend]
