I would have gone for Conjuration, Destruction and Alteration. Enchanting and Alchemy are more like side professions. It would also have made your MC more unique. Instead of going for the magic swordman that every single SI goes for.
Are you writing these last few chapters with Chatgtp or other AI programs? Because this whole "For the Horde!" and "For the Alliance! shouting matches really makes everyone look like NPCs. It's specially stupid when no one even played the game to have any kind of connection to the factions. All the rivalry came after the game came out, not before it.
This chapter was literally a fix fic. There was nothing that made special use of the firekeeper. You just put her there, fixed the whole compulsion problems, prevented the attack, healed everyone, etc with fire that heals. But there was nothing special that really showcases how special the Firekeeper is. Right now she might as well be the DC Human Torch that heals. You need to play to her strenghts and special characteristics. Not just default to your typical dude in spandex that hits and heals things.
Not really like the direction that this is taking. I feel like if you're going to use a nun MC, and the Firekeeper at that, that she should be more like a cultist. Staying behind the lines and creating a religious movement to combat evil and all that. Not joining the Avenger and throwing fireballs like you run of the mill superhero MC.
I don't remember. Was there something that the Hall of Souls needed to do with urgency where the souls were a must? Because they're doing A LOT of noise for losing the souls of 3-4 minor halls that they could replenish with enough time and patience instead of this rushed action.
I'm asking because in the Author Notes you speficy that you wrote a little about what would have happened if Pete wasn't in the picture but then in the chapter itself Peter is there and you even make him interact with Ryan. As if this chapter was another PoV following Pete's story instead of a "What If Pete was never there".
