Chen Chen: Even I was this close to giving in. Little X: How about we kill all the spying meatbags?
My man is hyping up his big brain. Unfortunately for the antimeme dude he met a protagonist that focused on gaining intelligence before anything else.

Nah. It's more like the nature of a simulation is what led him to consider these kinds of things and his years as a merc made them a true habit. He didn't start thinking of things like that until he had already lived 5 years in the simulation.
Considering the kind of novels that get picked on here, it might actually be necessary.

I suspect it's something similar to the Black Emperor's Arrogant Bribe or Corrosion. It was likely the ability that made the exo suit guy to make suboptimal decisions during their fight since Inference clowning seems to require some sort of conversation.

I like it tbh. In most novels, low level cultivators are only slightly better than well trained mortals. Here the difference between mortals and cultivators is so stark it adds a lot more prestige to cultivation. If low level cultivators can already burn people to ashes it makes senses that people revere them so much.
I'm not entirely sure if it does but let's be honest, if you can somehow send matter through time doing the same through space should be magnitudes easier.
Seems very convenient...
