say that you were in his position and you didn't know that your fiancee saved you because of enemies, so she broke up with you and became talk of the town as in the novel feeling humiliated,backstabbed and possibly bamboozled as they say. will you still be happy or grateful to her???? and in the novel the enemies were never mentioned to him or us untill a couples of chapter later. N as usual it's always 'for your own good' female novel logic. maybe you should try re reading it
