The MC is outrageously xenophobic, constantly referring to non-chinese as "barbarians", "dumb", "greedy", and "selfish". The MC is at the same time devoid of any empathy or compassion when it comes to the star beasts or the non-chinese. He will happily torture and eat sentient species without an ounce of remorse. The writing is good and the story is fun enough if you can look past the xenophobia. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

The translation quality is getting worse, constantly messing up characters name and gender pronouns.
