What? How can a man on a Parkinglot be so trusting, if anyone aproches you with the opportunity to buy something cheaper you inmediatly think there’s a catch, and besides how could anyone who doesn’t know what he’s buying could belive him, that seems rather sketchy.

I think it does feel a bit forced, but she has already shown submisivness. And the way he said it feels thick skined, dominance and insensitivnes are not the same, you can show that you’re taking the lead without disregarding the feelings of the other.
