The LotM takes a bit to get going, I would say the end of the first volume, beginning of the second volume is where LotM really sinks it hooks into you. around chapter 200ish, and I find the slow beginning is more than made up for by the next 1200 chapters. I don't think I have read another webnovel that has as deep of world and complex characters as LotM
