As much as i liked the world the author created there was something that subconciously bothered me as i was reading this. And i think it has to do with the most Villans being retarded. Its hard to relate with the srory where you have this powerful influential mage whos supposed to be smart and cunning, and he does things like angry fourth grader...

Imo, death of a character is one of most powerful tools of immersion when used right.
I praised the author for creating such a fantastic fantasy world with vibrant characters and cursed at him for killing Ciara and Yeriel. I told him to limit the suffering of Scar and Edward, and when I finally stopped, I had already written quite a few paragraphs. - Heaz31yrCommented

Well, considering how terrorist organisations usually operate, logically, he would first be attempted to be traded for an absurd bounty and if that fails he would be dead... But current description of situation points for very possible 'redemtion arc' and he will likeley live through all of his suicidal ideas. My guess would be that author will pair Anya with him and make Jay start off some remote undead empire.
