that is a logical error, obito fulfils every requirement here but didn't unlock rinnegan. so we can infer that there are other requirements like having indra and asura chakra or maybe more since both madara and Sasuke unlocked it.

feel like I was lied to, 'this will not be a story where powder loses everyone'... it is, she just has one additional person in MC, spoiler he can't die. was really hoping for different resolution for s1 ep3 plot and even if you don't want to change that moment why does it has to be powder blowing hexcrytals and not some plan Wilco made for his death. Had the tragedy stemmed from any source other than Powder's actions, I might have found it more palatable. As it stands, the narrative felt like a betrayal of the initial promise.
