I cannot stop expressing how much I love this story. Thank you for the chapter.
Using their power against them. Nice.
I love this story. I cannot love it enough.
This is the best romance story. I just can't thank you enough, author, for writing this and sharing it with the world.
It took a long time to read, but I will try with minimal to no spoilers. The sum of my review is based on when I read a story, I want to be glad I spent my time on it. I want to celebrate the characters and the choices they made. At the very least I want to see character growth, of which the MC had basically none. His character did not grow or fall; he was as flat as could be. He was just there to play the role. The only thing that changed was his increase in strength. The story is fun because of everything around him, but a lot of stories here are fun. So it really doesn't win anything. This is why I say if you haven't read it, feel free not to. But if you have, feel free to finish your investment. Onto more technical aspects that may matter to you: The story has great world-building. Many webnovels based around systems/cultivations have tiers of worlds the MC grows through, but it often becomes repetitive and boring. That does not happen *as much* here. I can think of two tiers that were excellent. Most characters are interesting, with only a few falling flat. Even so, they are not major distractions, just pointless. MC does not build a harem which I appreciate, but the author does fall into the culturally stereotypical depictions of female beauty with the occasional (rare in comparison to my estimate of the average webnovel on this site) use of sexually charged language. I can think of one female character who was very well-written with a great character arc, which was awesome. I forget if the author uses sexual analogies to describe situations. The Legendary Mechanic did it so much and I read both at the same time, so I am not sure if Super Gene did as well or not. If it did, it did it less and was less extreme. The repetitive use of words and overly lengthy descriptions to boost word count is kept to a decent minimum, though still present at times. So it is above average for a webnovel, but I am not the type to recommend novels based on the average, which is quite poor here. I don't know if this helps. Honestly, I feel like it doesn't, so I am sorry. I read this over a few years, so the minute details are hard to remember compared to the general feel.
My feelings of finishing this story is just, "it ended." Is it worth reading? Not really, but it is also not a bad read. It has its ups and downs, and I am generally satisfied with how it ended. The author did a good job overall, and it is an above average read for this website. But as I am fine with reading it, I would also have been fine not reading it. I guess my final summary is if you haven't read it, feel free not to. If you have, feel free to finish.
He did in the letters he wrote. In person I don't fully remember, but I don't think he used the title then. He died in 2008. "Young master" together I don't know about. It doesn't seem too far fetched for me from master (like when a servant informs a visitor that "The young master isn't home right now, but I can leave a message for you if you like."), but I don't know for sure.
At last a good analogy I can read without cringing. So many times these stories seem to love using analogies based on different scenarios of cuckoldry, it's disgusting and perverted. I forget if Super Gene does that as well, but the Legendary Mechanic did it almost exclusively.
