I also think that if the MC was a normal kid instead of an adult in a kids body as a reader i would have thought we have an emotionally intelligent kid but is still immature and lost. That would have been so interesting to follow. But with MC being an adult the displayed dramatic and emotional introspection instead felt stupid.

All of this would have made sense if the MC was not an adult transmigrated. These past chapters would actually be really good if we had a normal kid who is suffering. But with our knowledge as readers of the mc being an adult, the events that would have been emotionally impactful instead became a dissonant and frustrating ordeal to read.

Don't forget world building through the discussion of martial arts skills as the MC compares it to his past knowledge. I don't understand why you call this stuff fluff when there is so much substance to it.
