As he’s shown through his attitude towards the recipe it would almost certainly be worth it. I mean just look at when everyone was bidding for it. As for the costs, that is easily gotten back from the profits that would result. Now yeah would it take a while. Probably. But even if it does that doesn’t mean they still can’t sell the pills they get from trying to get the recipe. I mean it doesn’t seem like he has third rate alchemists who couldn’t make a 40-50% purity pill under his thumb

Calling it now, they are on the fifth continent and all it’s ambient energy is going to powering the formation it has keeping everyone inside
