I doubt they would be able to leave the area itself as that should has the same level of difficulty as escaping the loop. Also, it would be anti-climatic if Lumian is out of danger without completely resolving the problem

I preferred part 1's story where Klein had to figure out everything for himself. Here it feels that Lumian has everything layed out for him...
