While this book is gorier than what I would normally read, something about it just kept pulling me in. Absolutely loved the entire novel and wish it wasn't so underrated! Definitely look forward to more of the authors works, I've become quite a fan!

It's a typical cold alpha male lead misunderstands the woman who loves him - which is something I don't mind. But I can't stand the rape, victim-blaming and overall abuse!! The FL is constantly misunderstood and I kept on reading just to see the moment that the ML realizes his wrongs but I literally can't stomach it anymore. For such "smart" ML I don't know. why he doesn't do an investigation into the events that happened in the past!! Too angry and disgusted with the ML to continue. tl;dr rape, victim blaming and jerk ML is not my kind of story
